Born in 1992, Eunhae Kim is a Korean artist whose practice explores how value and sacredness are assigned to things, turning her attention to what is spent, discarded, or quietly forgotten. Working primarily with ash, she restores exhausted matter to painting, treating it as a material that carries traces of time, memory, and transformation. Through painting, installation, and archival research, Kim examines how dignity and remembrance can persist despite erasure. Her recent works draw on the visual language of icon painting to construct images of provisional sacredness, where anonymous figures and overlooked materials inhabit a shared space. Moving between the sacred and the ordinary, presence and absence, her practice reflects on the quiet persistence of what remains. Kim received her B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Korean Painting from Ewha Womans University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the same institution. She has held five solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Korea.

김은혜는 사물에 부여되는 가치와 신성성이 어떻게 형성되는지를 탐구하며, 소진되고 버려지거나 조용히 잊혀지는 존재들에 주목하는 작가이다. 연소의 흔적인 재를 주요 재료로 사용하며, 그것을 시간과 기억, 변화의 흔적을 품은 물질로 다루어 다시 회화의 재료로 되돌린다. 회화와 설치, 아카이브 리서치를 통해 지워짐 속에서도 지속되는 존엄과 기억의 가능성을 탐구한다. 최근에는 이콘 회화의 시각 언어를 차용해 이름 없는 인물과 주변의 물질들이 함께 머무는 임시적인 성스러움의 장면을 구축하고 있다. 성스러운 것과 일상적인 것, 부재와 현존 사이를 오가며 남겨진 것들의 조용한 지속성을 드러낸다. 이화여자대학교 동양화과에서 학사와 석사를 마쳤으며, 현재 같은 대학 박사과정에 재학 중이다. 다섯 차례의 개인전을 개최했으며 국내에서 다수의 단체전에 참여했다.
